Seasonal Self Care : Eco-sensual

With the arrival of Spring, our bodies shake off the winter leathery and get ready for the movement that comes with new growth.  Many clients report a sense of chaos and disorientation.  Like fawns testing their wobbly legs, no matter how many winter-spring transitions we experience, this can be a clumsy time.  Out of touch with the pace of the season and heavily influenced by the non-stop speed of our society, we experience a dual force both desiring re-engagement while still needing some slowness. How are we to strike this balance?

Take a moment to slow down. Take a moment to enter the outdoors.  Take a moment to connect to your senses.

As you feel the stability of what holds you up, as you smell the plant life waft in the air, as you watch the movement in front of you, hear a language too foreign to understand, or taste nourishment on your tongue, how does this shift what’s within you?

What is the speed in which growth is happening?

How do you notice investments being shifted in this season, and only in this season?

What is being shed?

There are many teachings we can learn from out in nature - what wisdom has the earth offered you?
